Reference projects

Here is a small presentation of some of the projects that we have made in the past.

Reception

In October 2007 we moved into our newly build office and production facilities in Hobro. The reception 2 & 3 of April 2008 was well visited and we thanks the many participators for the attention and the fine gifts.

Handling metal tubes

Handling of metal tubes of all shapes and sizes from 12-90mm in diameter and lengths from 300-3000mm is easily done with a 165kg 6 axis robot and a special designed tool for the purpose. The tubes is picked up from a saw and placed on a pallet with side frames.

Special punch machine

Special machine for producing expansion tubes with diameters from 300-1000mm. The punch tool is driven by a hydraulic cylinder that can apply up to 800 KN of pressure. Positioning of product and stops is done with servo motors.

Palletizing carpets

Palletizing carton boxes with carpet samples is easily done with a 100kg 4 axis robot and a special designed tool for the purpose. Barcodes is applied to the boxes before stacking. Carton sheets can be applied between the layers to stabilize the stack.

Handling of fiberglass

This special machine is made to cut and size tubes of fiberglass. The fiberglass tubes is put into a buffer and feed one at a time to a cutting saw. After cutting the tube pieces is placed on a index table and moved trough 3 working stations for sizing and finishing before the drop out in a box. This machine works with a tolerance of 5/100mm.

Making carpets

In this application 2 robots work together in preparing frames for an industrial loom. The robots find the center cone of the bobbins with a vision camera placed in a special expansion tool and picks the bobbin from the pallet and places them on the frames. The bobbins are placed on the frames according to the design of the carpet. Design data comes directly from a design program.

 Handling at paint line

For this application 2 robots are used, one for loading products to the lacquer line and one for unloading the lacquered products. The loading robot places a complete layer of products on a separation table. The table distributes the products one by one to the inlet of the lacquer line. At the outlet a collection table assembles the products to a complete layer again before the robot moves the layer to the pallet.

Stack sanding

Stack sanding is done with a program that is generated automatically from a few parameters given by the operator or transferred from the production line computer. The robot will verify a few measure points to make sure that the stack is aligned with the program. A center pressure device goes down on the top of the stack to ensure that the products are fixed during the sanding sequence

 Chair sanding

A small 15kg 6 axis robot performs the demanding chair sanding operation. The small robot has a great flexibility and is capable of reaching all parts of the chair. Programming is done with a interactive teach method that was developed for this purpose, it gives the operator an easy way to handle, combine and reuse program sequences. A special tool is developed for this application to ensure that all corners are sanded properly

  Robot painting

The painting program is generated automatically from a few parameters given by the operator or transferred from a sanding robot that is placed on the production line. When to color changes the robot moves to a safe position an automatically cleans the spray gun and applies the new color. The robot painting cell is build according to the ATEX directive.

 Palletizing furniture

This 100kg 4 axis robot is equipped with a multi circuit vacuum tool that handles carton boxes with knockdown furniture’s. Boxes up to 2200x800mm and 70kg can be handled in this cell. Empty pallets is automatically applied from a dispenser and moved out once the have been filled by the robot. Barcodes is applied to the boxes before stacking. Carton sheets can be applied between the layers to stabilize the stack.

CNC Tending

In this setup a small CNC drilling machine and a robot on rail works around the clock producing kitchen furniture’s. When placing 5 full pallets of products and one empty pallet on the floor this cell is capable of operating unattended for 14-16 hours. During the weekends the robot will send an SMS to a nearby operator when all parts are produced.

Caviar

In the north of Iceland this robot is working with packing and palletizing jars of caviar. After the caviar has been pasteurized in an oven it moves out to the robot. The jars is lined up in 4 rows before the robot picks 4x3 jars up and places them in an automatically applied carton box. A piece of carton is placed in the box before applying the next layer.

 Automatic labeling

An automatic label printing and applying system has been implemented in this robot cell. Product data is exported from the administrative system to the labeling system. Labels with product data and barcode is then automatically generated
